Mother's Day basket ordered and confirmed 4 days in advance. Tried calling Saturday and Sunday...not taking calls. Sent email on Sunday to open ticket...auto reply said it will take 24-48 hours to reply. Basket was delivered a day late on Monday...still no reply to my ticket or any explanation. Sad.
Horrible. Order arrived a week late with rotten fruit. Will not refund my money. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!! Do not order from this company. I paid over $40 for shipping!
If I could give half a star, I would. These are trying times for all of us. However, if you can’t provide the service, be upfront with your customers. We waited three days before contacting customer service when we hadn’t been notified the order had shipped. The day after contacting Hazelton’s via email (the only way to contact Hazelton’s-RED FLAG), Hazelton’s shipped our order. FOUR days after the order was placed. The delay resulted in the fruit basket sitting in either a truck or warehouse/hub over the weekend. The basket was finally delivered on a Tuesday afternoon, a full week and a day after placing the order. The fruit was overripe and even rotting. Very little was edible. Never again!
The delivery should have been delivered within one business day. It was shipped late and arrived 10 days later. The fruit was not edible and was rotten. I requested a refund through the chat line and by email but there has been no response. I will not order from Hazelton’s again due to the poor customer service.
I have never been so disappointed with transaction in my life. The fruit basket we chose was for my brother-in-law was as a get well gift after his heart surgery. I purchased online, paid for what I thought was overnight shipping and indicated the next day as delivery date. When I did not get a receipt or delivery confirmation the next day, I called Hazelton's and was then told that the basket would not be delivered for another three days! On the third day, I received the most embarrassing phone call from my bother-in-law. The basket arrived in a deplorable condition - most of the fruit was so rotted, inedible and so disgusting that my brother-in-law promptly threw the entire basket into the garbage. I was mortified! Not only was the basket gross but my brother-in-law was inconvenienced during his recovery!
After three emails, complete with photos, asking for a refund or even a note to apologize to my brother-in-law for the mess that was created by the delivery, I was told by the customer care department "too bad", no refund, no attempt at all to alleviate any bad feeling that I had for the company.
I urge anyone who is considering this company to look elsewhere. They couldn't have cared less about my satisfaction.
