Unfortunately out of the 3 items I ordered, not one of them were sent to my friend. They sent 3 different items in it’s place and certainly lesser quality and nothing close to what I ordered. It is absolutely a sham and you can’t get your money back. So if you are looking for satisfaction guarantees, then use another service. I tried to work with them but they refused to work with me on it. Unfortunate during these times.
So I ordered this chocolate truffle cake, but some other white cake was delivered in a completely smashed condition. There is no customer service number to complain about the order issues. When we contacted the email support, they said, they can make any substitution and they are not responsible for the condition the cake arrived, So basically it was a waste of money and there is no refund policy. If I had read the yelp reviews before ordering, I would have never used this site. They do not care for customer satisfaction and quote terms and conditions for every mistake of theirs. If anyone wants to get disappointed on a special occasion can use this site. I wish I could give zero star.
Received an email asking to write a review about the chocolate truffle cake - I’ve no clue because firstly I received the wrong cake, and secondly the cake was completely smashed when it arrive at my doorstep. It was supposed to be for my mother in law who’s visiting , and it was such an embarrassment when the cake we received seems like it was kicked across a football field for an entire game.
Customer service was very responsive but did not address my concern, did not refund.
This is the second time my package came in a completely unpresentable condition.
I gave up. And it’s my bad for ordering from this website twice, anyone reading this, please learn from my mistakes. Do not even bother considering Yorkville. Unless you want to be embarrassed by them.
This was my first time using this company for a Father's Day delivery. After reading the reviews about the company I was happy and confident that I had made the right decision. Long story short, the order arrived on the day it was supposed to which was the day before Father's Day however, it was not the item(s) I purchased or ordered which was a chocolate truffle cake but instead got a damaged red velvet cake. Then to add insult to injury, after emailing the company about the wrong item's being sent they sent me a long emailed reply which basically stated what the company had the right to do because if Covid -19. This delivery meant alot to me and it was ruined because of not getting what I ordered but also because when the order arrived the gift was damaged. What happened to customer satisfaction? Also, the item received that was wrong was something the recipient was allergic to. So, I would like to suggest that your company contact people who've paid their money for items before you do substitutions and at least give options to cancel the item, offer a decent replacement item, or a refund ..I mean, what and who would that hurt to do?
I would have preferred for the pictures online to match the actual cakes sent
