They literally delivered strawberries (with no chocolate on them) and a chocolate bar on the side. It was also not delivered on time.
The gift could not have been worse. It looked great on the website. After spending almost $200 on a gift for a friend, I read the reviews online. They were atrocious. For days I tried to cancel the purchase. The company’s phone number is inoperable and when I did email with a custom service rep, he refused to cancel the product and expedited the order. When the gift arrived, it was laughable. Instead of chocolate covered strawberries, it was some old strawberries and lousy chocolates. The packaging was atrocious. I cannot advise you anyone more strongly to avoid this company.
I didn’t receive the chocolate covered strawberries that I ordered, instead I got a box of almond roca toffees
My strawberries came 4 days late, warm, smooshed, melted, and inedible. Nobody from customer service will answer me when I call or email - worst experience ever.
I will NEVER again purchase anything from this company. My sister got engaged over Labor Day Weekend but given the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, I was unable to see her to celebrate. As such, I thought sending her some chocolate covered strawberries (her favorite) would be a nice celebratory treat to send her and her fiancé. I paid for overnight delivery and the package was delivered 2 days later. I then found out that New York Blooms took it upon themselves to switch out the chocolate covered strawberries with boxed cookies. I was never notified or asked if this was OK. After realizing this, I called New York Blooms customer service line only to be told there is no customer service line for people who have already placed orders. The only way you can speak to a live person is if you want to place a NEW order. Absolutely insane. I was told I needed to email some general New York Blooms account with my issue and they’d “look into it.” Well, their response was that they reserve the right to switch out products whenever they see fit and will not notify customers OR refund the order. I’ve sent additional emails stating that this is unacceptable but haven’t gotten a response. Honestly if I could give this company negative stars, I would. I’m really not one to write reviews but this situation makes my blood boil. What was supposed to be a nice treat, celebrating a happy moment, was destroyed by New York Blooms. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
